i recently bought acer predator helios 300 PH315-52
and installed crucial P1 1TB SSd after that my system keeps crashing randomly so i tried to update my SSD firmware but crucial storage executive recognize the SSD but in firmware update it shows there are no supported SSD available. so i looked up in online it shows that if the SSD is in Intel RST( Rapid storge technology) mode the software will not detect it so i moved to BIOS and changed form Intel RST premium controller to ACHI which is recommended by Crucial but after changing and booting the blue screen is popping up Saying Trouble booting like that so i changed backed to Intel RST and the windows booted normally but it crashes randomly is there any solution for this?

NaveenPrakash if you OS was setup on stock as rst premium you cannot change it to ahci unless you reinstall the OS from scratch (clean install) it will never boot up if you swap to ahci mode UEFI will not work you can grab a good 16gb usb drive create an acer usb stock recovery drive via care center backup whatever you need change the bios to ahci mode and reinstall the stock windows via the usb drive this would be the best way to get it working on ahci (if by any chance wont let you install) you would have to create a usb drive via windows media creation tool but just in case do this before you try a clean install (unless you have another laptop/desktop where you can create it) it wont hurt having 2 usb drives as backup one with stock OS the other with normal windows (latest 1909 version)

Also before you try anything have you formatted your new drive if its showing on rst  also should be showing on disk management as unallocated space give it a check if its there format it or even use a usb enclosure to do so via usb to check if the drive its working properly or not might even be a faulty drive it happens
