Hello,

I am trying to figure out the difference between the 2 different versions of the XB3 (or XB273) monitors.

I have found completely widespread answers on the internet.

The  xb273kgpbmiipprzx is around 200-300 euro's cheaper, has less peak brightness and according to some websites is a lot newer.
The xb273kpbmiphzx is, according to some websites, the only one with true HDR support and true G-Sync.

However I also saw the xb273kgpbmiipprzx listed as full HD somewhere and noticed that I really can't find any xb273kgpbmiipprzx monitors by searching for xb273. I will only find the more expensive version.

I am very confused and I've looked for hours. several websites even claim that the xb273kgpbmiipprzx has a 1ms response time and more ports, compared to the xb273kpbmiphzx which has 4 ms reponse time. But why is the slower monitor more expensive then?

I'd like to see some facts about what's really going on here and why the xb273kgpbmiipprzx is a lot cheaper for seamingly no reason at all. Is it not HDR? Is it freesync but certified as G-sync? I don't know.. Please help!!

Here's a comparison from a dutch website: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/compare/1478082;1280231/
With information pulled from a CZ website: https://www.acer.com/ac/cs/CZ/content/predator-model/UM.HX3EE.P13 and a dutch website: https://www.acer.com/ac/nl/NL/content/predator-model/UM.HX3EE.P01

But in some other websites the xb273kgpbmiipprzx isn't listed as HDR while the other one is. But on other websites it is. Some websites also claim that they both have IPS panels, but one of the two has an AHVA-IPS while the other one is normal IPS. I don't get it?

Thanks in advance,

Marco

Looks like the difference between the two is 4ms vs. 1ms, maximum resolution, the ports available, gsync and rotate. The big one, of course, is 1080P vs. 4K.

But why is it listed on the links I posted as 4k then? AND g-sync?

    It's confusing..

Both the Czech and Dutch sites show the P model, correctly even though they're different part numbers because of the different locales. It looks like the tweakers.net site has the wrong specs for the GP model.

Just go to the Acer site and look up the specs yourself.
