Acer AN515-53 will not charge unless fully powered off.

This problem started earlier this morning. I woke up and started gaming with my laptop at 100% and plugged in. Later, I noticed that the battery was charging, and then not charging. This cycle repeated. The orange charging light also blinked. I have tried 3 different cables and the results are consistent. I tried resetting my battery, doing the battery checkup in acer care center, and updating my drivers. I have also tried uninstalling and letting windows reinstall my battery drivers. I have been searching online and have not found a fix in the last 2 hours. Currently my laptop is dead and will only charge while powered off. If I get enough charge to turn it on, as soon as the acer logo appears the orange light starts blinking again.

@MartinJohn00001 Respectfully my friend, if you read the questioners post he has already done a battery reset.

@WhiteFire356 You have already performed the troubleshooting steps, you have established the Charger is good, you have updated the Battery drivers and performed a battery reset, all with no result. I suspect a bad battery, if you are under warranty contact Acer support link below

Hi,sorry to hear it. Kindly try power drain by following the below steps.

Power Drain

*************

1)Unplug the AC power adapter.

2)Press and hold the Power button down until the unit goes off.

3)Search for a pinhole that has a battery symbol next to it on the backside of your laptop, insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole, press and hold it down for 25 seconds. Then release the paperclip and try to turn on the unit and check.
