I unplugged my computer yesterday as it was 100% charged. The screen went black and it hasn't turned on since. I tried doing a hard reset and that didn't work. The outlet wasn't the problem, and neither was the power cord. I've had the computer a little over a year and I have been very gentle with it. I'm not sure if it is the battery or what the problem is. Please help, I do not want to have to buy a  new computer.

First step is to try a full power off, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, release and wait a bit, then turn it on normally. If that doesn't work, see if you can boot into recovery mode and do a power wash. If that's not working there might be a battery reset hole on the back. put a paperclip in and hold it for 15-30 second, release and wait 15 minutes or more, then try turning it on. Report back with which worked or if none did...
