The static noise is audible every 30 seconds when in sleep mode or after shut down. I can't locate where the noise is coming from.

    Hi @Fulcrumus

Try this method to eliminate the sound.

    Method 1:

    1. Press the  PredatorSense key located above the number pad.
    2. Click the  Settings icon.
    3. Move the toggle for "System boot animation and sound" to the off position.

    Method 2:

    1. Press and hold the Power key to completely shut down your computer.
    2. Power the system on and press the F2 key when the Predator screen appears to enter the BIOS.
    3. Use the right arrow key to select Main tab.
    4. Use the down arrow key to select POST Animation & Sound, then press Enter and use the down arrow to select Disabled.
    5. Press Enter.
    6. Press F10, then select Yes to save the changes and exit the BIOS.
Click " Yes" if this was useful to you!!  :)

Fulcrumus static noise its completely normal in all electric devices some more noticeable than others on laptops they tend to come from the m.2 drive chips especially more from nvme there is no fix for this its completely normal nothing to worry about LunaAdmirer  also this is a 8 months old thread theres no point in reviving dead threads any new issues should be started on new threads not old :)
