PH315-52 WiFi issues (dropping when I play games)

I'm having a super frustrating issue with a brand new Helios 300 PH315-52 that I just purchased a few days ago.  When I'm playing Path of Exile after about 10-15 minutes the WiFi just completely stops working for about 30-60 seconds, which disconnects me from the game (obviously) and kills all internet access on the laptop.  It doesn't seem to be losing access to the WiFi network, rather the internet just stops working.  What's odd is that all other devices attached to the network still work fine.

Reading around online I am not the only one with this issue, but I have not found any solution yet.  I have tried updated drivers.  Restarting the machine and the router, and also stopping the Killer Command Center in case that was mucking with it.  It doesn't seem to have any issues if I'm not playing online games.  I'm wondering if it's a traffic issue?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Good afternoon GrandeAnde !

Does it occur on any wireless network and routers you have tested?

I have only had it on my home network so far.  I will be doing some traveling in the coming days so Ill be testing it out then and can report back.

What's interesting is that it only seems to disconnect if I am actively/quickly playing the game.  If I am just sitting in the town idling while I do other things, it does not seem to run into any issues, however if I am actively playing; killing monsters, running between areas, interacting with NPCs, etc. it will eventually disconnect.  I have yet to be able to actively play on my laptop for more than maybe 30 minutes before the entire internet stops working on my laptop for about 1-2 minutes.  It is a very odd problem.

Some steps I have already attempted:
    Updating firmware
Fully uninstalling all Killer firmware/apps and reinstalling after a full reboot
Disabling the power-saving mode on my wireless adapter
Providing a reserved IP address on my router for my laptop

None of these above steps have offered any noticeable difference.  My next plan is to also test it via other online games and see if they have any issues.

Fun fact, literally as I went to post this, the internet cut out

GrandeAnde might even be you router that limits the wifi bandwith (if its isp locked some isps do this to limit the costumers bandwith over wifi) and when the laptop pushes more than the allowed the router kills the connection anyway its just a supposition i would check it anyway or get a good router to work with i never had any issues with all my fritzboxes also are you using 2.4ghz or 5ghz  and let us know if the issue its the same on any other network or not :) also are you using any bluetooth devices when you are connected just wondering as this sometimes might create incompatibility as the wifi adapter is shared with the bluetooth same adapter does both connections

No bluetooth running on the laptop.  I play Path of Exile on my wired Desktop without issue, but obviously that's LAN and not WiFi.  This computer also came with a whole suite of Killer drivers and optimization stuff.  I have uninstalled all of that and let Windows find its own drivers, so we'll see if that fixes it also.  I will report back with other routers!

GrandeAnde you should use the acer stock drivers for the best performance of the device they were tailored for it or even if that doesnt work search for updated killer drivers on their own website the manufacturer drivers exist for a reason dont let windows update your drivers/firmware disable it from doing it it will only break everything
