Hey guys so I have had this acer spin 3 for almost 3 months working without an issue. Today I was play PS4 remote play on it and it slipped from my bed and dropped on the carpet. After that it was really laggy so I restarted it. After I restarted it, it said that preparing repair tools and got stuck in boot loop. After restarting it said no bootable device foind. I tried going into bios but when I go to boot there is no boot mode option and nothing under boot order. The only option is secure boot enable or disable.

Go to BIOS and check whether the HDD is detected , if not try once BIOS default.
BIOS default:Press the power button but as soon as you press than power button , tap on the F2 key repeatedly untill you get the BIOS setup utility page. Once you enter the BIOS press the F9 and press enter and press F10 press enter. The unit will restart , after the unit comes on check and see.
If the HDD was detected than try once a reset on the device and check, it should fix the issue.

@faizan321 which model of Spin 3 do you have? Does it have a HDD or SSD? If HDD likely the drive was damaged when it landed and should probably be replaced. You might think about replacing it with a SSD so things like this won't happen again.

I have a Spin 3 and I was getting "no bootable device" message when trying to boot my computer. I came to the conclusion that my HDD was fried so I bought a new one. I then downloaded windows media creation tool on to a USB stick and reinstalled windows on to the new HDD that I installed in my computer. I am using that computer right now so windows 10 home is working but the graphics look off like its in safe mode or something. It isn't in safe mode but that's what it looks like. When I entered BIOS and put everything to default (F9) and restarted my PC it said no bootable device again so I had to go back into BIOS and change the boot order back from UEFI to Legacy and again its working but its like windows is installed on my HDD but not on my whole system (PC) - if that makes any sense - so im trying to figure out how to install windows correctly so that I can boot up my PC in UEFI mode. I remember before my system went down that "Windows" was first in the boot order in BIOS and now when I check "Windows" isn't on the boot order list. So can anyone help me fix this problem please?

For Windows to be listed in the boot order you need to be in UEFI mode. When you install W10 it should also be in UEFI mode. It sounds like you somehow got the system into Legacy boot, then installed W10 in Legacy mode. You want to change the BIOS back to UEFI and reinstall Windows, wiping the old version. The drive need to be configured as GPT instead of MBR but I believe that's the only thing you might need to tweak in order to get things back to normal.

@Kimikat since yours is so new I'd contact your vendor and have them swap you out a to another. That will be faster than going the warranty route.
