Hello,

My PC cannot boot into Windows after upgrading the bios to P11.A2. I had to upgrade the bios because i had 2 dedicated gpu and none of them worked....there was no signal.. the integrated video was working fine ( intel hd 4000 )

I tried to reflash and reflash, reinstall windows( 10 ) but i had no success. The HardDrive is being recognized in the bios and windows 10 installation but it just couldn't boot to the windows ( NO BOOT DISK HAS BEEN DETECTED OR THE DISK HAS FAILED ).
The BOOT Order is okay.

My pc is an Acer Veriton S6620G

Thank you in advance !

Best regards,

The UEFI/BIOS settings for UEFI Mode:

    Secure Boot=enabled
    Launch CSM=never

    --------------------------------------

The UEFI/BIOS settings for Legacy Mode:

    Secure boot=disabled
    Launch CSM=always

    ----------------------------------------------------------

To reinstall Windows 8 or Windows 10

    1. Go in to BIOS settings and put the Veriton in to UEFI Mode and enable the F12 boot menu and save/exit
    2.  On a different computer, create Windows 8 or 10 USB installation media with rufus......with rufus settings:  UEFI (non CSM), GPT, FAT32
    3. Insert USB installation media in to veriton's usb port
    4.  Boot the USB by tapping F12 at Acer post/boot logo.
    5.  Select custom installation and then delete all of your partitions on your HDD (this will wipe your HDD)
    6.  After you delete your partitions, it's important that you power cycle the desktop (to fix your problem).  Press and hold the power button until computer shuts off.
    7. Turn on computer and install Windows 8 or 10.  Select custom installation.  Click on your HDD (it should say "unallocated space") and then click NEXT.......and the Windows installer will automatically partition and format your HDD and automatically install Windows.

You can get Windows 8 or 10 iso from link(s) below.  You'll need to use the iso with rufus.

Edit: If you need to retrieve important personal files, you can use an HDD enclosure before re-installing Windows.  Example below.
