Hi, I got a new video card for my desktop - RTX 2070 with suggested power 650W. Because there's only 500W in my Predator I bought a new PSU from Corsair - RM850X. Unfortunately the cables do not fit and I'm lost. The motherboard connects with 12 pin and the PSU have 24. What should I do to be able to fix it? Or is this PSU not suitable at all?

Yes, that looks like it's the one. The newer size connector is mainly used on the small cases since it saves quite a bit of room on the motherboard. I've got no idea why they used it in this case. :)

The smaller connector is a newer form, but it's go the same actual power going through it. There are adapter cables you can get on Amazon or eBay, and I'd assume most other sources for that type of thing.

How come is it newer? My Predator is 6 years old and my PSU is brand new. In Corsair, all hey could tell me was that if Acer uses 12 pin connector they do not use ATX standard. And I cannot really argue, I don't know much about it apart from pluging it in and out.

Would this kind of adapter work? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/24-to-12-Pin-ATX-Acer-Q87H3-AM-Q87H3-AM-Q-Power-Supply-Motherboard-Adapter-Cable/113989166777?pageci=0d12afff-8590-459f-b0f2-47277f13b94f&redirect=mobile
