Hello!
I bought this laptop 2 moths ago, then I downloaded the newest bios update, but I don’t understand how to flash it. The .exe Bios must be flashed in windows, how to do it standing on black screen?

    Good evening IvanPineda !

Current Bios updates are only performed via .EXE on the operating system and no longer via USB flash.

    Does your laptop access Bios?
    Have you reset the battery?

where should be the battery reset button? Apparently this model don’t have a hole to battery reset.

If after reset does not return Windows, try reinstalling the factory OEM system by pressing ALT + F10 as soon as you turn on the power.

@IvanPineda One advice to you and everyone else never update the bios unless it states specifically in the bios release notes that it would solve the exact issue you were having at the time and if there are no issues  whatsoever never update it, updating the bios its risky and it could brick your device if it goes wrong and loosing the access to bios only acer can fix it another advice it to disable windows updates from updating drivers/firmware (many of the laptops were bricked because of this because MS implemented the bios updates into windows updates) and only update what you need manually

    Hello, thanks for commenting.
But Its too late, wasn’t my fault, this is a MS/Acer fault. This is a brand new laptop, acer didn’t told me, don’t update your 1000usd laptop or you will have a brick.... trust me if I know that before I would bought another model/brand.
So what should I do? Sitting and wait for a magic solution? Anyway thank you for helping.

    Finally I flashed the Bios,
    Started Windows on safe mode.
Changed BatteryCheck value to 0 in platafrom.ini file.

After that I tried to install Windows again but I still getting black screen.
    Any suggestions?
