Hi

I have an ACER ASPIRE U5-710. I am not sure why when I surf certain webpages, images would display a placeholder sort of box on my screen. Is there a setting I should disable?

It could be a browser issue, perhaps settings are not letting you see images that are not secure (https instead of http). Which browser are you using and what site are you trying?

Thank you for responding. Actually I am using IE and all the pages I am surfing would display the placeholder even on Facebook itself. Even the drop-down menus would display as such. As this AIO has a 3D sensor camera, initially I thought there are some settings that may have interfered/conflicted with the display. I was pretty puzzled over another PC which I have used IE and Chrome and no such problem exist....hence I am confused by it. It seems like Chrome works fine.

So if Chrome is working as expected and IE isn't, it pretty much has to be an IE setting. There is a "Protected Mode" in security settings that might affect it, and there are likely other settings under security that could be blocking as well. Could you link to a problem website?
