I have had my Predator Helios 300 for just over 12 months and its been great but recently I had a problem with the cursor sticking and then disappearing so after a bit of trawling around the internet I tried updating the firmware to 1.26, this seemed to do the trick and its about 95% better but it still sticks on occasions, anyway a couple of things i've noticed since the firmware update is that if I have the laptop on ac and leave it for a few minutes it goes to sleep (power sleep settings are set so that the only time it should sleep is if working on battery only) and the backlight goes out if dont hit a key for about 30 seconds, prior to the firmware update the backlight stayed on all the time I had ac connected and only went out when on battery.
Anyone any ideas how to sort things.
Cheers in advance.

Disable the Keyboard Backlight timeout in BIOS.
