Acer Swift3 SF315-52-81HD - Display Screen Replacement

Hello Friends,

I am based out of India, have been an ACER fan since 2008 when i bought my 1st laptop when i visited US which has been going strong till date.

I bought an ACER SWIFT3 SF315-52-81HD from US again since the old machine was feeling sluggish and was slowing down. There was an incident due to which the display is broken. There is no physical sign on the screen, however when i switch it on it shows as broken. The laptop is out of warranty currently, since this was bought in another country the charges quoted by the authorized service centres here are expensive, at the rate quoted by them i can buy a standby laptop.

I found a website that sells replacement displays https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/Acer/SWIFT~3~SF315-52-81HD/ - however the question that i need answer is if the video connector used in this one is 30 pin video connector or 40 pin and will this be compatible with the model mentioned above.

Hi,
You have 30 pins connector in your model, are you buying the panel in USA? If so, go for reputable panels, like AUO, LG or BOE, the link you posted doesn't mention the brand name of the panel, so you may end up getting a compatible panel(cheap alternative).
