Aspire E5 576G issue with Win 10 1903 update and intcdaud.sys
Windows update stopped due to issue with Intel audio display intcdaud.sys.  Closed update. Windows did not identify any updates to fix. Used device manager to check for driver updates to Intel display - but it said I have latest update.   Tried to download Intel Graphics Driver from intel, but it said my the drivers were not validated for my machine. It said my manufacturer customized the drivers. I checked acer and I did not see any graphics driver updates from my machine.  My Intel Graphics Driver is ver 23.20.16.5038. Unsure of Intel display Audio driver version.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction for a solution?

The v1903 and any OS build should not have an affect on the Intel graphics driver, Intel's latest graphic driver for the HD Graphics 620 (which is integrated into the CPU) is the "Intel® Graphics - Windows® 10 DCH Drivers" version 26.20.100.7463 from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29195/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=96551 but, have a look in "Control Panel" and see (if the version 26.20.100.7463 or later is installed) by windows update as, Microsoft do have newer and more specific drivers for Windows 10 and the OEM Intel is just an alternative but and if the version 26.20.100.7463 is a newer version then, install that, simple, there should be no issues with Intel drivers and/or incompatibility issues. You can also go onto the Intel site to " Automatically update your drivers Identify your products and get driver and software updates for your Intel hardware" here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/?wapkw=quicklink:download-center

When I run into drivers issues I use a different computer and search the web and save to a thumb drive. GPU's were the biggest issue and if NVidia I went straight to their sight and used what chipset was within and got their drivers and I have found at times their drivers worked better than what the manufacturer using NVidia's chipset provided and this includes Windows and at times Linux as well.
Otherwise my AO533 accepted the very first version 2015 of Win 10 perfectly for drivers but I switched back to 7 because of performance issues. Perhaps I gave up too soon because many improvements were made so I should give 1903 a try again instead of the 2015 version!
