Has anyone added a Samsung 970 EVO SSD 1TB to their second M.2 slot on their Predator PH315-52?

Asking because I've seen a few posts out there about people having trouble booting up their systems after adding a second SSD drive to the secondary open M.2 slot. I'm curious if anyone with this specific ssd (Samsung 970 EVO SSD) had any issues or had any work arounds that they had to do to make it work? I've seen things about people having to physically switch the M.2 slots around or having to get into the bios and switching the boot order.

Just hoping to make this a simple update. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

I had no issues installing the Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 into the secondary (empty) slot. Computer booted right up and was able to partition the drive.
It was very easy and straightforward.

Yes, it will work, Crucial advertises 1TB NVMe SSD as compatible, so Samsung 970 Evo will work without any issues.

That's definitely good to know. I'm just curious how the setup process went for people who kept the original ssd that came with their computer (and that most likely has Windows on it), and then added the additional ssd? Based on other people adding the additional ssd, it sounds like people have had mixed results as I mentioned earlier.

AceMind3 well you can add it as the second drive or you can clone your existing drive into it and use it as system drive and format the stock to use as data its up to you as you have 2 slots to choose its up to you i for ex only have 1 slot so no other option but cloning it and replace it

and technically you should be fine up to 2tb
