No bootable media help Aspire 3 A315-31

Hello i was hoping someone could help me as im at the end of witts.
I have a Acer Aspire 3 A315-31 it was given to me as payment for some work.
Now my problem is i get the message of no bootable media on this laptop.
after the Acer screenlogo.
I have slaved it to my main PC and formatted it using windows and can acces it fully on there aas a helath NTFS drive but when i put it back in the laptop i get the no bootable media message.
When going into the bios i am unable to select a any option on the boot tab, I am trying to boot windows from a USB to do a clean install.
When hitting F12 there is no bootable devices listed either.
i also treid to slave a cd drive to the laptop and it did not recognize that either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Iused ease us partition magic on my pc to make i an MBR drive.
The OS on the stick is windows 7 as i much prefer it to windows 10.

here's the issue - the machine you have is UEFI and i doubt very much the mode can be changed in the bios to "legacy" or CSM, which is what you require to load 7 which is legacy (UEFI came in at 8). Here's a couple of threads to expand on the issue and might give you a workaround:

i could be wrong on your bios depending on the age of the laptop, but i made an assumption as you said "10"! But, i think is a low powered cpu with 4gb ram? Sounds like an ideal linux machine as that would give it a new lease of life (unless you have MS software you just can't do without, or game)
