Sorry for any weird formatting or spelling mistakes, I am on mobile.

I got a blue screen with the Windows Store crashing and as it was rebooting, it started encountering issues. I thought there would be a standard BSOD and restart so I got up to get a snack. When I came back, it was attempting to fix the (C:). So I waited that out.

It got stuck on Stage 3, 100% for about ten minutes and then eventually finished. It then started getting stuck on the Acer splash screen.

If I reset for automatic repair, it gets to preparing automatic repair then black screens.

F8 for safe mode and multiple resets to get into advanced boot options do nothing

Alt+F10 to attempt a factory reset or system restore goes to a black screen after "Pleae wait"

I can boot into the BIOS but that's about it.e

What is there I can attempt to do from here?

    Hi @Yoyo805
You need to reinstall the OS in flash Drive and reset the PC

    1) download a windows 10 iso using Microsof tool:
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209
select the proper windows 10 version (the same installed on your laptop) and choose to save it as iso file when prompted
    2) download Rufus:
    http://rufus.akeo.ie/?locale=en_US
plug your USB flash drive, run Rufus then:
select ISO image from the dropdown menu near "Create a bootable disk"
click on the little icon on the right and browse to the windows 10 downloaded iso file
as Partitions scheme select "GPT partition scheme for UEFI"
    as File system select "FAT32"
    click on Start
wait until it finish, then uplug your USB flash drive
    3) with the USB flash drive plugged to your PC, boot to BIOS pressin Del key
    4) look if F12 boot menu is enabled, if not, enabled it

    5) check if UEFI is the selected BIOS mode (no launchCSM)

    6) press F10 to save and exit

    7) reboot and press F12, choose the USB flash drive as bootable device

    8) choose to do a custom installation and then delete everypartition on your main HDD/SSD

    9) then continue with windows 10 installation

Before you attempt to reinstall a new copy of Windows do this.
At the Acer splash screen power down by pressing the power button, reboot and repeat, powering down at the Acer splash screen and on the 3rd attempt it will bring you back to the blue options screen. Instead of repair select select Trouble shoot/Advanced Options (sometimes labeled Advanced Startup Options) then the option to Restore you computer to an earlier date, select a date before it crashed. Warning it may take a long time to restore and often appears to be stuck so be patient and read the section in the article below, Fix BSOD Using System Restore
