So I tried to wipe the data on my Acer One 10 laptop by doing a factory reset, but it seems that said factory reset ruined the PC, windows installation kept freezing at 43% even after 5 days. I have tried changing the boot setting but none of them seem to work, is there any way I can make it boot from USB so I can reinstall windows?

in the bios, do you have a f12 setting so you can select a bootable device on start up?  you'll need to enable that (if it cannot be changed, you'll need to assign a supervisor/admin password in the bios first).  Next thing, make a bootable usb stick with windows on it (microsofts own media creation tool is good for this).  Then turn on your computer with the usb stick plugged in, tap away on f12 straight away and you should be able to select the usb device.  This'll wipe everything on the laptop including personal stuff.
