Upgrading my Acer Aspire R5-571TG-7229

I have posted about this before, but I want to know if anyone has used BestBuy and Geek Squad for their laptop upgrades or repairs?? I am so anxious to go about this and I really don't want to do it myself. I am planning on buying this one https://www.crucial.com/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&urlLangId=-1&scanId=FB7B8CAA31D926C3&productId=2429002&urlRequestType=Base&langId=-1&externalPartNumber=CT13493469&catalogId=10151
Will this one work for my laptop? I can give more information if needed. I want more storage but I don't want to ruin my laptop, it's amazing lol

@brummyfan2 , okay, that makes sense. I think I would go ahead and get this one then https://www.crucial.com/ProductDisplay?urlRequestType=Base&catalogId=10151&categoryId=&productId=2429002&errorViewName=ProductDisplayErrorView&urlLangId=-1&langId=-1&top_category=&parent_category_rn=&storeId=10151 . Now just to figure out how to go about replacing it without screwing things up. I thought about using Geek Squad at Best Buy but I'm not sure what the best option for replacing this is
    Hi,
Watch the video posted by @egydiocoelho and see how confident you are to follow the procedure, if you are not bothered how it's done and feel it's better done by a professional, take it to Geek Squad and get it done.

    Hi @clerbird321
You need a spare HDD and a SATA to USB cable, download and install Macrium Reflect free program.
1.Connect the HDD(spare) to laptop with the SATA to USB cabe.
    2. Run Macrium Reflect and backup the contents of your current M.2 SSD.
    3. Connect a USB flash disk and create a bootable recovery disk using Macrium reflect free.
4.Disconnect everything and replace the 256GB SSD with the new 1TB drive.
5.Insert the Recovery USB disk and boot with it.
    6. Connect the external HDD where you have backed up the image.
    7. Recover the image from HDD to your new SSD,

@brummyfan2 oh great, that's so helpful! I also just found these 2 other SSDs on Amazon from that second video @egydiocoelho shared, do these look like they would work for me? https://www.amazon.com/Blue-NAND-1TB-Internal-SSD/dp/B073SB2MXT/ref=dp_ob_title_ce?th=1

I think 1TB will work but you have to try the 2TB at your own risk, I am saying this because of it's size, it may work or may not work.
