Really bad performance on Predator Gaming Laptop PH317-51

Hello! I've had this this PH317-51 gaming laptop since May 2018 and only recently have I noticed on some games where my specs are good enough to at least low even medium, struggle in terms of performance. For example, just started playing Outer Worlds via Xbox Game Pass and checked multiple sites and have confirmed that my specs should allow me to run it without a problem on at least low. Yet, in game I can barely move with these FPS drops on LOW settings and Motion Blur turned off. I've already looked at many articles on how to improve game performance but none of these things have helped me thus far. I was wondering whether anyone here has a similar model/specs and can tell me what I can do to overcome this issue. Thank you!

Specs:
CPU: Intel i5-7300HQ
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti
RAM: 16GB
1920x1080 resolution

    Good afternoon szmonoloza !

    Starting with the basics, are you following these settings?

    1- all drivers and windows must be properly updated
    2- the device must be set to use the high performance power plan of Windows
    3- the battery must be charged 100% before playing
    4- Battery should be set to advanced power options for maximum performance.
    5- Game applications must be set in dedicated GPU Painel (Nvidia) to be the main
    6- The appliance must be connected directly to a properly grounded power outlet without any power adapter.

    Bottleneck seems to be your processor and nvidia card. Try reducing resolution from 1980x1080 to 1600x900 and see if that helps.

    szmonoloza I have the same cpu/gpu but not the same exact specs and i dont have that particular game to test but never had any issues on any games so far recent or not so im wondering how are your temps right now have you ever cleaned your fans/repasted if not you probably should

    So did this started happening recently? you mention having this unit since May 2018 and just created this thread looking for help with this issue
    Have you ever contacted Acer support to report this (have u send it for repair)?

    If you tried all the troubleshooting tips and recommendations from the following threads, i think is time to contact Acer support for assistance:
