Hi All,
I have just got my N50-600 (i7 8700/Radeon 580 4G), the CPU fan will scream when its load goes up, I am considering to put an all-in-one CPU liquid cooling system in but just to find the back side of the computer case has only a 80mm fan space, and most CPU liquid cooling kit come with at least 120mm radiator/fan size, has anyone had luck with putting a liquid CPU cooler in this machine?
Also I have another quesiton regarding the Windows 10 Home comes with it, there is no Windows 10 license production number or any sort of, how do I re-install Windows 10 if my hdd breaks down? Is there a way to create Windows 10 recovery disc from the pre-installed system?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Better off leaving well enough alone at this point if no apparent throttling or heat related issues. These machines are designed to run hot when under heavy loads. You might have some modest adjustment capabilities in the BIOS advanced section. Windows licenses are now embedded on the mainboard. You can get the license number by going to the elevated command prompt and enter 'wmic os get serialnumber'. The result is the Windows OEM license. You should make a backup recovery stick using the ACER care center installed on your machine should your HDD ever go haywire. Jack E/NJ

Yes, and it's important to use the Acer Care Center app, it will create the original image for you, so a reinstall gives you everything. If you just do a Windows recovery image you won't end up with anything except Windows after a recovery. :(

Thank you JackE, I have retrieved the Windows license number, hope next time when I reinstall Windows I can use it to activate. And I also managed to install the liquid CPU cooling in the machine, it's so much quieter now. But I am not able to create OS backup image with Acer Care Center, it always complains "We can't create a recovery drive on this PC, Some required files are missing..."

Did you earlier try to install a Microsoft generic version of Win10? Jack E/NJ

No, I didn't, it's a new machine, the only things I did were to remove some garbage games and apps, but I have kept the Acer staff.

Go to this link and download/reinstall the ACER care center. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7625?b=1

Do you recall which garbage apps? If not try reinstalling the QuickAccess app. Jack E/NJ

Do you mind if I ask what liquid cooler you used? Thinking of using the same for mine.
