Hi,
You have to install it to find out, however this advert claims it's compatible with Acer, I still have my doubts about using a module made for HP in Acer laptop because some modules are produced for certain brand of laptop, anyway, you need a DDR3L SODIMM 1600MHz module, as I said earlier you could try installing this module, if it fails to boot, get a Crucial or Kingston module.

Hi, Could you please find out the current memory installed in your laptop, download and install CPU-z free program, run it and go to SPD tab and post the memory details in both slots. Could you also please post the details of memory from HP laptop.

there's only one slot, it's not showing anything and my hp laptop is broken, I can't run the app on it.0 -
Is the slot empty? Your model may have come with a on-board memory and one slot for upgrade, so go to Task manager, go to Performance tab, select Memory in the left pane and post the snip.
Can you physically check the make and model of the RAM in HP laptop? Without knowing what's in there, it's difficult to say whether you can install that module in Acer laptop.0 -
this one is the RAM of my old laptop that I want to put on my ACER, will it work?
and yes, the slot on My Acer is Empty0 -
