    yes it boots normaly with 2GB. A litle bit slower, but its working.

    so on the side, i have bin looking for solution my self, and i found this:

    Symptom 1: “IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL” error screen on startup

    The IRQL error is a memory related error that often appears if a system process or a driver attempts to access a memory address without proper access rights.

    So... without proper access rights...BIOS do that?

    No it does not.

    so i boath this ram:

    Crucial 4GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM

    CT51264BF160BJ

    and on a diferent forum wase this:

    I checked the compatibility of this memory module with your laptop. Crucial gives this result:

    so again i bouth a nother pair of ram.

    Crucial (RAM) DDR3 SO-DIMM 4 GB 1600 MHz (CT51264BF160B)

    tomorow i wil check if it works.

    No i bouth wrong ...  :# i didnt know that " J " at the end of part number wod make a diference. The rest is the same ddr3 1600mhz so-dimm...
    So now its runing fine with crucial RAM DDR3 SO-DIMM 4GB 1600MHz ( CT51264BF160B)  :) tnx for your help.

    Thanks for your report. I think that it is an easy to get wrong module since the general specification seem to be the same. Jack E/NJ

    Hola Estimad@.

    En mi caso tengo un par de las crucial tal cual indica en su publicación, y me sigue sin andar. El problema es persistente, coloco esas RAM 8gb) y el laptop comienza a reiniciarse, el BIOS reconoce los módulos pero no logra iniciar Windows (Win 10 pro), sino que me lleva a un error de pantalla azul y luego de unos segundos se apaga sola.

    PD: tengo como casi todos los del post, un ACER - ASPIRE 5742G, CPU i5-480M, tarjeta de video nvidia GeForce GT540M con 4 gb de ram (2 x 2gb).

    Ya actualicé el BIOS pero sigo sin poder solucionar eso del inicio de Win.

    Si alguien tiene una solución al problema del aumento de memoria, les agradezco.

    (1) ¿Cuál es el código o mensaje de error de la pantalla azul?

    (2) ¿La instalación de Win10Pro prosigue correctamente con los módulos de RAM de 4 GB originales?


    (1) What is the blue screen error code or message?

    (2) Does the Win10Pro installation proceed OK with the original 4GB RAM modules?
