Hello, even though my laptop shows that its charging, lately its been behaving very strangely. Sometimes when I unplug it, it keeps working, and sometimes its switches off instantly. Also when charging the computer, sometimes the charging gets stuck at a certain percentage and never changes.

My laptop is only 1 and a half years old(and it came with a 2 year warranty). If there is a battery issue, will the laptop keep working as long as I keep it plugged in or will that stop working as well ?

I will also get in touch with acer employees if this is a hardware issue.

Thank you for your time.

Whenever your original problem arises, do the battery reset. But you may need to get your battery checked by Acer Service Centre.

For my nearly 2 years old G3-572, wear is just 7.2%. So, yeah, yours is too much.

Right, I spoke with an acer employee and they asked me to reset the battery by inserting a pin into a hole on the backside of my computer. After that it is working fine and I am able to use the computer without it being plugged in, so I will submit another complaint if it happens again. Thx for your help

right now its 16.9%, so it is changing quite quickly, but the laptop is now able to work on battery power.
