latest BIOS installation

Hi,

Present BIOS in my Laptop is V1.01 and the latest version of BIOS is V 1.21 (Release Note: Improve System Performance).

There are few versions in between.

V1.07 (Release Note: Update EC to v2.1)

V1.09 (Release Note: Fix when force shutdown in os then power on, system sometimes hangs at logo)

V1.13 (Release Note: Update EC to v2.2)

V1.16 (Release Note: Improve system performance)

V1.18 (Release Note: Support new MXIC MX25L6473FM2I-08G flash rom, Update n16s-gtr x32 vbios to 82.08.6D.00.88)

V1.19 (Release Note: Update N16S-GTR x 16 vbios to 82.08.6D.00.29)

I am new for upgrading BIOS. Should I upgrade it, as there is particularly system performance improvement involve.

If I upgrade it, please guide me for hassle free execution.

download the latest bios file from acer site.
connect the charger.
run that file.
it will reboot and install the new bios.

restart may take some seconds so dont panic or do anything.

Last Tuesday i did an update from 1.01 to my latest. If i were you, you should update it step by step so you wont miss any important update on your computer. For me it works fine. Just dont forget to always plug in your charger.
