Why does my laptop stop charging when I'm gaming?

I have a Helios 300 ph315-51 and every time I try to open and play a somewhat intense game with medium-high graphics my laptop just stops charging. I have tried uninstalling the battery drivers and even holding the reset button on the bottom and this is still occurring. Is there any way to fix this?

grandpaco the laptop its not supposed to recharge the battery while you are playing games on performance mode it will only recharge the battery when this one reaches 40% or under i dont see any issue here the main purpose of the battery its to help the adapter to provide more power to the cpu/gpu whne this one cant by itself you should never start any games with the battery not fully charged always make sure its 100% charged and always play on AC if/when the battery reached 40% while gaming on AC (this shouldnt happen at all unless you have too many devices draining power from the usb ports or even external display) you will have to stop what you are doing and let it recharge to 100% again
