Hello,
I have problem with my Aspire 7. Everytime when I don`t use laptop for a while it restarts itself with statement "NO BOOTABLE DEVICE". I have never had that problem after turning on the laptop. I installed latest drivers, all Windows updates and updated BIOS but nothing helped. I read some similar topics, all show that changing UEFI to Legacy mode solve the problem, but I can not change this, I don`t have Legacy option to choose. I also tried load default BIOS settings - nothing changed. Every time when I`m not using computer for 20-30 minutes it turns off, restart and I see "NO BOOTABLE DEVICE" and I have to turn it off and turn on again. After restart windows boot in few seocnds. I have SSD+HDD, Windows is installed on SSD. I tried to turn off HDD, but it also doesn`t help.
I have  Aspire A715-72G with i7-8750H, 16GB RAM and GTX1050Ti and Windows 10 Home 64bit

Yeah, your machine is new enough there shouldn't be an issue with the CMOS battery failing, which can give that type of error. The SSD module is an M.2 card plugged into a socket on the motherboard and it's possible that's starting to fail. Are you still in warranty?

Yes, I am still in warranty, but I downloaded Intel SSD Toolbox scanned SSD there and updated drivers, I turned off fast boot in BIOS and it works for the whole day without any problems for now. If the problems will happen again I will send my laptop on warranty. For now everthing seems to be fine, topic can be closed.

I own acer aspire 7 i5 9th gen laptop with 512gb ssd. The problem i face is that while I'm playing games for about 2 hours the screen gets paused and i have to switch off the laptop and start again. At that time it shows no bootable device. Then i have to switch off the laptop and start again. I have been using this laptop for about 3 months now and I'm facing this problem from the past 2 weeks.

Since it is only 3 months old, should be under warranty . Contact manufacturer for warranty info or return it quick.

I just opened my laptop, and it shows me no bootable devices.
I updated all drivers and window to its latest version(window 11)
    That's all I don't do anything unfavouable.

I always use desktops and laptops for Acer Community comments and never used a cell phone for that. To find out why you did not get my point, I tried to use the cell phone to read the comments. Yeah, I did not see the Ask a Question green button at the top of the page, when I have not signed in yet.

I tried to sign-in to see if that button will appear after sign-in, but I have sign-in problem, rejected by Acer for invalid account or password. Maybe I have not signed out from Acer Community from one of my PCs.

Anyhow, if you use laptop or desktop and signed-in, you should be able to see the Ask A question green button.

O.K., you need to sign-in before you can see the green "Ask a Question" button.

If your laptop's BIOS is up to date, this kind of No Bootable Device can be frequently associated with two reasons.

    1) Poor connection with the drive
    2) A bad drive (still do not know what kind of drive that you have)

I'll open up the laptop, take out the drive, spray some electrical contact cleaners to the connectors of the drive and the motherboard side. Not many people have that, so you can reseat the drive a few times to clear anything if attached to the connectors. Sometimes, people try a battery reset by inserting paper clip pin to the small pin hole at bottom of the laptop for one minute and may succeed.

One thing you can check is to see if the drive shows up in BIOS ( when bootup, keep tapping F2 key).

However, seems like your problem may be Win 11 upgrade related, you can try revert the update with the Recovery Menu.
To do that, you may want to hold down ALT key ( or Fn+ALT keys) and keep tapping F10 key at bootup until you see the Restore Menu.

    Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>Uninstall Updates

Hope these can help you. The most important thing is whether the drive appear under BIOS.

If everything fail then it is probably a bad drive, take this chance to upgrade for a drive with higher performance if you like to.
