I tried to play games without plugging the power adapter, the game is so slow. Can't hardly play. Newbie here. First time to own a laptop ever. Its the Helios 300 2019. Thank you very much.

AndreiRuiz dont play games while charging make sure your battery its 100% charged before you start any game and always play on AC never on battery only also as it was stated above make sure that you have the nvidia selected in the nvcp if needed setup manually to each game the battery main purpose its to aid the adapter with more power when this one cant provide enough to the cpu/gpu it will (shouldnt) discharge while you are gaming unless you have to many external devices connected to the usb ports or use external display and when the battery reached 40% you will suffer a high performance decrease because the adapter will kick in to recharge the battery and cannot do both  you have  if this happens you have to stop what you are doing and let the adapter recharge the battery to 100% again and only after start what you were doing only use it on battery in an emergency for ex if you dont have access to any socket and only on really light works apart from that keep it always on AC at all times
