Looking to upgrade my Graphics card since games don't perform well much anymore, was looking at the MSi 2070/2080 and the power outlets needed aren't on my current PSU. was advised to look at

But am unsure about parts compatabilty and such and wanted a second opinion.

Current things:
Geforce GTX 10606GB
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700k CPU @ 4.00GHz
15.95 GB RAM
Main monitor is 2560 x 1440 144Hz (MSI Optix MAG321CQR)
Alt Monitor is an LG 32" (unsure more info)
Current PSU i THINK?:  https://goto.walmart.com/c/1943169/565706/9383?subId1=tomshardware-7746236493423699749&u=https://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-Predator-G3-710-G6-710-AG6-710-Computer-Power-Supply-750W-FSP750-80EGN/121765179

Yes, the G6-710 uses a standard ATX power supply and that one has what looks like all the cables you need. The issue I see is you are only moving from a 730W PSU (stock is 750W downgraded to 730W for longer life) to another 750W PSU. I believe you already have enough power with the stock supply, and if you really want an upgrade you ought to be looking at larger, not the same. The MSI looks like it uses an 8-pin power connector. If your supply only has a 6-pin you can just use an adapter cable. The 165W (12VDC at under 14A) power needed is handled easily by the wiring size.

The current supply i have has two six's and two 2s. so an adapter would be the way to go then i would assume? wasn't sure if it was better to just upgrade or just adapter to fit the requirements.

It will be one heck of a lot cheaper to get the adapter! :)
