My laptop is less than 14 months old, less than 2 months out of warranty.
It won't turn on when I press the power button. When plugged in, the charging light does not light up.

I tried the battery reset button on the back.
I don't believe it's a cord or battery problem because when I plugged it in this afternoon the AC adapter got warm, but later it was cold again, leading me to believe the battery had finished charging.

Ok I'll have to order a new cable. On Monday I'll let you know how it goes.

If it's not the cord, what else could it be?
Than it could be something to do with hardware issue inside the laptop. Need to send the unit for service.

Ok I supposed that's the best call, since I can't nail down exactly what to replace myself.
