Hi,
About a week ago I bought Acer Helios 300 (1660ti model, PH315-52-703U). I decided on that model, since the reviews were extremly positive and it just seemed like a great value. And at first I was very happy with my purchase. Build quality was great, temperatures low, and performance really nice. But while playing Hitman 2 I noticed that something is wrong. I was losing my battery even though my laptop was connected to the charger. I was using the turbo mode and had only my wireless mouse connected. Yesterday after half an hour of play my laptop went from 100 to 96%. I just wanna know if other users of the laptop can confirm that this happenes to them as well, or I just got a faulty laptop.

  • This behavior is normal for high performance notebooks. This happens when more performance is required and the battery can discharge up to 40%. There is no problem with your notebook. The nitro 5 and predator models work the same way.
