Why does I encounter shut down/sleep problems in my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52?

My model is AN515-52. When I shut down or sleep the laptop, the screen goes black and it freezes giving nothing but the black screen. But fans and power LED keeps on working. So, I have to keep on pressing power button to force shut down my laptop which is harmful to the hard drive. I updated drivers and everything but the problem is still there.I had my hard disc replaced even, but it didn't solve my problem. I came to know the it's something regarding intel management engine interface driver (which I have updated to latest) and that it needed to be downgraded to version 9.5. I couldn't find it anywhere. If you know where to find them for my laptop model or if you know any other solution, please help. Thank you

    My laptop model is Acer nitro 5 AN515-52
    And I'm using windows 10 Home.
    By the way I managed to solve the problem,
    All I had to do was a bios update which has already been provided by Acer which says "Update Intel ME 1427 for RS6. 3. Update Intel MCU" ( version1.28)
    After the update, the laptop seemed to be shutting down smoothly so far.
    There was no need to downgrade intel Me drivers
