please help asap intermittent Keyboard flickering with ph315-51-76wv

hello everyone so i got acer predator helios 300 about a month and a half ago and last night when i was done gaming i turned off my laptop and went to sleep the next day i wake i try turn on my laptop but it doesnt work sometimes the keyboard flickers and sometimes not when i press the power button and also my indicators are lit like when i put in the ac adapter it shows that on my indicator and when i press the power button my other indicator lights up for 2 seconds the goes off again does anyone know how i can fix this issue please help 😢

model: ph315-51-76wv (60 refresh rate)

(also i overclocked the monitor from 60 hz to 75 could that be the cause of the problem??)

Hi, @Salah718Try to do battery reset. Follow the steps below:
1) Unplug power cable from device.
2) Close the lid if open then flip it upside down.
3) Find small symbol for battery and next to it there should be a small pin hole.
4) Use a paperclip or something smaller to press and hold for 10-15 seconds.
5) Then turn on the device and test if it boots.

Pushing a screen into unsupported refresh rate causes issues.

Try connecting an external display and divert all display output to it, and then try resetting your refresh rate back.

Salah718 why did you overclocked your display do you know theres no reverting back after you had done it and the lifespan of the display will have a huge decrease as @sri369 stated above if an external display would be working fine and your display isnt you have damaged it the point here is you never overclock a 60hz display you upgrade to a 120hz or 144hz if supported but overclocking it never it will not give you any advantage/gain in doing so either as as i said its irreversible the damage is done

Try connecting an external display and divert all display output to it, and then try resetting your refresh rate back.

i didn't overclock the monitor for a while i just overclocked it for 2 days so i dont get it even if my monitor was damaged why does my keyboard not turn on ??? it blinks sometimes and sometimes it doesn't and also there would be some backlight seen if the monitor was damaged but there wasn't any.

i tried to connect to external display yesterday again the computer it self does not turn on if it turns on it would display it on the external display. any way i will try that again today when i get back from work

Salah718 can u access the bios ? F2 on boot or the acer stock recovery ALT+F10 if so you could try a stock recovery if you cant access the bios at all i would try a battery power drain to see if after you can access the bios to reset setup to defaults if you still cant after this procedure (and you dont have any warranty seals ) if have any knowledge of how to disassemble a laptop and perform a cmos reset you could also try that (theres no guarantee it will solve your issue) but if youre still on warranty and you have warranty seals send it back to get it repaired but bare in mind that if the issue is the display and they find out that you overclocked it (as they probably will) the warranty will not cover it
