    Hi jempot

If you see this message while trying to start your computer, first try the following:

    1. Restart the system.
    2. Press F2 to enter BIOS Setup during Power-On Self-Test (POST), while the Acer logo is being displayed.
    3. Use the arrow keys to navigate Boot or Advanced BIOS features.
    4. Refer to on screen instructions to set the first device to IDE0Hard Disk or SATA0.
    5. Press F10, then press Enter to save the changes and reboot the system.

The system should now directly start from the internal hard drive. This avoids the risk that the message is caused by a USB stick or external hard drive trying to start the system.

If the message still shows, the tools available in the Windows Recovery Environemt may resolve the issue: Introduction to the Windows Recovery Environment.

    DID THIS FIX THE PROBLEM?

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to follow these instructions: Restoring the operating system.
