Hi everyone, I have a Acer Predator 17 (Predator G9-793) -- Full spec'd and optioned

For a while now my Acer Predator 17 has been getting real hot around the power button and also to the right of it too. My fans are all maxed out ( I also have the Frostcore fan installed )
I am monitoring the Predator Sense app, and my CPU is getting above 92 degrees Celsius.
This is all happening while I am gaming, playing World of Warcraft Classic, not the retail version which is even more demanding I think. I haven't checked what Predator sense reads while I'm playing other games.
I use GeForce experience to optimize my settings and also keep my drivers up to date.
I have tried searching this issue, but haven't had much luck. There seems to be a more information about the Helios 300 but not the predator 17 (unsure if they are the same or just real similar)
My brother uses the exact same laptop, playing the same game and his CPU doesn't get this hot, nor do his fans run maxed out during game play. I can understand them pulsing a bit during certain times during the game but mine are maxed out from load screen until I close the game. The fans slow while I am tabbed out of the game also.

Thanks
Jack

I suggest you to optimize windows and undervolt with ts if you haven't already after this if the temps are still high you need to repaste with kryonaut or similar

Thanks for getting back to me so soon.

I will look into the undervolting.
But in the mean time, I would like to know why I am needing to do this? Especially when there is two identical laptops running the exact same game but both are performing differently. If my laptop which is suppose to be a great gaming laptop cannot perform safely running on normal clocking speeds why is there faster and turbo clocking speeds inbuilt?
Am I being overly paranoid with my fan speeds/CPU temps?
I just want to look into the reasons why before i tamper with my CPU, safety reasons and i want to keep my high performance levels.

    Thanks
    Jack

JackBau because you probably got a badly applied stock paste its happens on mass production sometimes some lemons come out but anyway its an easy fix :)

Ps: if youre still on warranty and have warranty seals on screws send it for a repaste but if youre not or you can open it without voiding the warranty do it yourself
