Since windows 10 update I can not view my screen on a external monitor

Issues relegating to Intel(r) UHD Graphics Card on the Swift 3, was find until the last upload but now my monitor will say it does not recognise a cable.


Have contacted Acer and they asked me to reset which I have but no resolve.  Before I factory reset as I don't want to lose all my files I am hoping for another option.

I have tried rolling back the version of windows but no resolve.  I have rolled back after a similar problem in the past which worked which leads me to believe it's the update causing the issue.

Any help will be grateful as I need the bigger screen to work.

I have managed to download a driver from intel directly and upload it myself, it wasn't simple but it's a issue that should never have happened.

Acer had me resetting my laptop which did not, work.  Now I have to reinstall everything.

Acer if you are reading this please sort out your drivers!
