I recently got this Acer V5-122P after finding a charger for it, it's powered on fine, charges and holds a charge fine but, though all this the screen just stays black. I've checked to see if it was just the backlight that was screwed, I've connected an HDMI cord to see if it would connect and show on another monitor. Nothing. I've been looking around a bit and from what I can gather it looks like downloading the BIOS onto a flash drive and booting it from that is the option that seems right for me. I am not 100% confident in it so, can someone help me out with this? Is this smart or a completely stupid idea?

    Hi charlienicholas
First try a power reset and check if the issue is fixed.
Please check for a battery reset PIN hole at the bottom of the device. The reset hole would have a battery symbol next to it. Insert a paperclip into the hole and press for four seconds. It simulates removing and reinstalling the battery.
