Acer Predator G9-593 - Track pad buttons

I bought the acer predator 15 ,g9-593 and it’s has been over a year now and suddenly my left and right click of the laptop stopped working pls help

    Follow the steps to update the Touchpad drivers:

    1. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

    2. Find the relevant Touchpad driver and right click on it.

    3. Select Properties and then go to the Driver Tab. Click Update.

    4. Restart the computer and check.

    If this doesn't solve your problem, you have to uninstall and then reinstall your driver in compatibility mode.

    1. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

    2. Find the relevant Touchpad driver and right click on it.

    3. Select Properties and then go to the Driver Tab. Click Uninstall.

    4. Restart the computer and check.

    Hit 'Like' if you find the answer helpful!

    They say that the best drivers for my device have been already installed ,now I’m gonna try uninstalling it

  • Does the problem occur only on windows? Have you tested on another operating system? Also, have you tried resetting the internal battery?

    No I haven’t tried a different operating system 
    I’m resetting the battery to check if it works

    Nothing spilled to the track pad or anything it stopped working when I was watching a film ...pls help

    Anuja_95 Have you checked if its disabled via FN+F7 just wondering sometimes might happen if nothing of the above works to rule out any software issues i would advise you to perform a stock recovery clean install (backup whatever you need first as everything will be formatted to the day you got it out of the box first time) ALT+F10 on boot and choose delete everything this is the last option to rule out any software issues if after this the issue still persists i would point to a hardware issue anyway hope you manage to get it working

    Anuja_95 if thats the case send it back asap for a possible replace/repair if still on warranty if not you can either look for the part yourself or contact @Kev0806 he is an authorized parts partner
