Can Helios 300 Laptops run 144hz in an external monitor?

I currently own a old version of the Helios 300 (PH315-51-78NP) and a Benq Monitor capable of running 144hz with a Display port and HDMI port. The issue is that the monitor is only running at 60hz because I am using a HDMI cable and from what I have been looking this laptop is not capable of running an external monitor at 144hz. So my question is, is the new version of this latop the Helios 300 (PH315-52-78VL) capable of running the monitor at 144hz? if so which cable do I need and which port from the laptop do I need to use? From what I know HDMI ports are only capable of 60hz and a HDMI/Displayport cable would not work.
