Hello everyone,

When i close my pc on %100 charge, next day i always find it with battery dropped like %8-%9. I checked the status of battery from Acer Care Center and it seems fine. What can be the problem?
(I am closing the pc from Start, then when i am sure its closed, i close its cover.)

    Hi Elibrone
You could try reinstalling the driver for Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery, go to Device manager, expand Batteries, highlight and right click Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery, click Properties, go to Driver tab and uninstall the driver, reboot and let Windows install the driver.

It really does not have the battery reset button. Are you sure the notebook is not hibernating or suspending in power options? Are there any devices connected to USB 3.0 or 3.1 ports? These ports allow charging devices when the notebook is off!

After you do what my friend says above, Do a battery reset. Unplug and turn off the laptop, Put a straightened paperclip in the small hole on the underside of the laptop and press for a full 30 seconds, let it rest for 15 minutes then plug in and power on

Please click "YES" to "Did this answer the question" if my answer helped solve your problem.

Thank you and have a blessed day  B)

I think Nitro 5 does not have a pinhole for battery reset. I can't find it.
