Purchase Help

Hello Everyone, I just joined this site because of my intention to buy a new Acer desktop this week, but I'm in no way computer literate and I would like a little help in choosing which model that would be right for me. I have a Dell Inspiron desktop now and in my opinion it's a piece of junk. What I basically use my computer for now is for sending and receiving e-mails, and surfing the web. I don't keep any important files on it, but just some pictures and some downloads I like to save, but that's basically it. I would like a new computer to have a camera and a mike and the ability to burn CD's on it. Can anyone give me any advice on which model would be best for me? Thank you for any help you can give me.
