All specs for the Acer Chromebook are below.Suddenly the spacebar while in BING SEARCH scrolls through the trending news instead of inserting a space.
The only thing I "changed" today was to add a BROTHER app to print. It works fine.
If I knew what happened I would fix it.
Here is exactly what happens:
Open a tab. By default home page is Bing search. (Microsoft gives away points which turns into real money for using Bing.)
Bing homepage has the usual search box and (if turned to on) a series of small boxes which have trending news -- one can scroll through the boxes and click on news one wants to read.
I start to type in the search box. As soon as I start typing, the screen gets a dark, transparent overlay. As soon as I hit the spacebar, the view becomes the first trending item on the Bing search homepage, each successive touch of the spacebar and the next trending news item highlights, spacebar, next trending news item, spacebar, next one, etc.
I tried turning CB off/on, setting an external keyboard -- can't get it to work -- reset a bunch of other settings. No help.
I've been searching for answers for over three hours. HELP!!
