S232hl monitor and Macbook Air 2019
Hello,
I am trying to connect my new Macbook Air 2019 with my S232hl monitor. The desktop is too big for the monitor screen and the sides are cut off. I tried changing resolution on the mac but that didn't help. When I go to the OSD menu and select picture, I only have limited options. brightness. contrast and color temp. the options to change the size of the display area are not available and I can't select picture in the dropdown. Seems I am stuck. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I am having the exact same issue. My screen image is off the top of the display, so I can't see the top line of the Finder. I don't see any way to adjust the height of the image. I tried setting it in the laptop OS, but that didn't help.0

Can I hook up speakers to my monitor? Back speakers I cant hear low volume0
