Fans are always at full speed but CPU temperatures are only about 40 degrees. How can solve it?

Hellow,
I have a Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-791G for several years.
My problem starts when I upgraded to Windows 10, then the right fan starts to work too much and at full speed even at low temperatures as 40 degrees, it's very irritating.
I tried to find a solution in the forum but I don't see it.
Can someone help me?
Thanks

    Hi jegea
The speed of the CPU fan is controlled not by Windows but by the controller on the motherboard and is based on the temperature of the CPU.

Try running these commands and check if it will make a difference.

    1. Press Windows keyand type Command Prompt then run it as administrator.

    2. Type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and press Enter.

    3. Once it's done, type sfc /scannow and press Enter.

    4. Restart your computer.

    5. Go into the task manager, (CTRL + ALT + DEL) and look at the CPU usage. That might give you a clue as to why the fan is running so much. There are many things that run in the background, like Services you don't need, that can be shut down to minimize CPU usage.

Many thanks TECH-MAN I have done all,  but the solution is not durable.
The fan works at full speed when the CPU load is only 5% and the temperature 41 degrees.
    Do you have other idea?

    Hi jegea

I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate and fix the issue:

    • Power off the laptop.
    • Remove the battery out. If the battery is integrated and does not have a latch to release it then leave the battery inside the laptop.
    • Disconnected AC adapter from the laptop.
    • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
    • Reconnect the battery and plug the AC adapter.
    • Power ON the laptop.

If the fans are loud again and rotate at high speeds then let us check if the BIOS on your laptop gives an option to disable the "fan always on" option. Teh following steps will help:

    • Shutdown the laptop.
    • Power on the laptop and immediately hit the f2 key repeatedly on the keyboard (7-8 times). This will make the BIOS screen appear.
    • While you're in the BIOS, please restore the BIOS defaults. Save and exit the BIOS screen.

    Hi jegea

Turn Off your Computer and Turn on and hit the f2 key repeatedly on the keyboard (7-8 times). This will make the BIOS screen appear.
    • While you're in the BIOS, please restore the BIOS defaults Using F9. Save and exit Using F10 the BIOS screen.
