Just purchased the newer model of the Predator 300 Helios under a week ago. My computer has frozen three times since the purchase when browsing the web. During the first two freezes, I was able to see my mouse cursor and move it, but could not click on anything. During the third freeze, I couldn't do anything so I cold booted the computer. Through my research, it appears older models have had the same issue. Updates were provided for those models, but my model, PH 315-52, does not have a BIOS/firmware update to address the hangup issue. Are there any plans for this to be done? Have owners found another solution?

Thank you.

Antics i would probably suggest you to perform a battery powerdrain and bios setup default and see how it goes after as its a brand new model there arent many bios updates yet and if the issue persists after those 2 steps my next suggestion would be for you to reset to acer stock (ALT+F10 on boot) delete everything option but first make sure you had backed up everything you would need all these steps are to rule out any software issue if after these the issue remains i suggest you to send it back for a diagnostic and a possible repair/replace and by the way which model you have the 1660ti or the 2060
