Hi. I bought the 2018 version of helios 300 a week ago. first and second day everything was fine. getting high fps in all games and stability everywhere. then I saw the temps, then I tried undervolting then I tried other stuff to lower temps. I used XTU at first then switched to TS and since the performance drop of using TS (games wouldn't even reach 60 fps) was massive I switched back to XTU. Right now my cpu is undervolted -105 (anything lower would crash in some games) using xtu and the performance drop is less but it's still there! My temps are 70-82 while gaming and sometimes it just drops from 60 fps(locked using vsync) to 40-50 and it's really annoying plus the avg uncapped fps i get is much lower now. On day one I had 100 fps in most games now it's 70 or less i don't know what is wrong with this thing right now and all I want is performance of the rig I bought a week ago.
specs:
ACER PREDATOR HELIOS 300 G3-572
I7 7700HQ
GTX 1060
16 GB RAM
benchmarks:
userbenchmark : gaming 50%  CPU Performing below expectations (33rd percentile) GPU
Performing way above expectations (97th percentile)
XTU Benchmark: 992 marks
