HDMI version on Swift 3 SF314-54G?

Member Posts: 2 New User
Hi. I'm trying to connect my Acer Swift 3 SF314-54G to my 4k TV (Samsung 50RU7100). It works, but only support up to 30Hz at 4K. My TV does support 4k 60hz through HDMI 2.0 (at least from what I read here), and I have a high speed HDMI cable (again, at least that's what embossed on the cable). That leaves the question if my laptop actually have HDMI 2.0..  :)

Is the HDMI port on the SF314-54G 1.4 or 2.0?

Hi, I have exactly the same problem with the same devices. Is there any way how to reach the 60Hz via some cable reduction?

No, the HDMI version and GPU aren't able to do the higher data throughput.
