Check if the sticky keys option its enabled on ps and probably quick access and disable it might be that or not if the issue persists perform a battery power drain and a bios setup defaults reset after

i think its my keyboard keys that are staying down still after i am holding on the key for a period of time. As in i held the key down for 1minute-ish, then i want it to immediately let go but it stays down a little longer about 5 to 10 seconds, before it goes back up. What should i do to fix the keyboard

Ciel so they are stuck did someone spilled anything over them that might be getting them to get stuck ? if so the warranty wouldnt cover it anyway (warranty wont cover user self damage like cracks damaged keys etc only internal hardware failures anything in the outside if it was not damaged when you got it warranty will not cover it) but i would probably contact acer support and send it back to get checked as you might need a keyboard replacement

After a years use, the W key on my helios 300 started sticking. It seems like it only happens when the laptop heats up. I am 100% sure that no liquid has been spilt on the laptop so therefore I can only say I will not invest in another Acer laptop again. The processor runs hot at idle and not really fit for gaming as it often crashes when under load.

With all that being said... Did you find a fix? I am thinking of replacing the keyboard and selling the laptop before the new AMD laptops roll out.

This is exactly what happens to me, it only happens when the laptop heats up.

I bought one external keyboard, but it is really annoying to connect external devices since this is a laptop.

I still want to fix that, but I don't want to completely disassembly the entire device just to clean one key without having any idea that will work.
