Hello guys! I opened my Aspire 3 A315-41G-R5U3 and it's motherboard is the same as other aspire models like aspire 5 and 7. The only thing is, some of the components are not soldered or is missing like the JBL1/2 (For backlit flex. Aspire 5 and 7 have this.) and JFAN2 (For another fan. Aspire 7 have dual fans.) My first question is, is it possible to solder one of the JBL so that it can work with backlit keyboards like aspire 7's? The second question is, is it possible to solder JFAN2, add another heatsink and fan, and then extend the heatpipes? Thank you for your response.

    Good afternoon Kazuya !

There are some issues to be highlighted:
1- such changes will invalidate any warranty of the equipment
2- the risk of rendering the motherboard unusable
3- internal controllers, battery and power supply will have to meet more power consumption

What about the possibility of splicing the fans together? Is that too much power draw?
