Hello,

I have an aspire vn7-592g-747c and the bolts that hold the left hinge of the screen are broken. Do I have to find a whole laptop bottom cover and replace the components with a new one or can I buy the bolts and fix it. I'm looking all over the place for the bottom cover and can't find someone who sells it.

Also, I'm wondering regarding the upgradability from Full HD to UHD Do I need to buy a UHD 40pin Cable? if so what is the model number for that regarding compatibility with this laptop?

I would sincerely appreciate any help.

Bolts? They're small screws. You can get laptop screw kits with all the screw sizes you'll ever need for less than $10 from places like Amazon. If it's plastic parts that are broken or cracked, it's best to try to repair the damage with two part epoxies like JB Weld. The ACER UHD part numbers for this are KL.1560C.004 & KL.1560C.005 .  The cable from the old screen can be used by removing tape that affixes it. Jack E/NJ

The ACER UHD LCD part numbers KL.1560C.004 & KL.1560C.005  should be compatible with the VN7-592G mainboard ribbon cable according to the specsheet.  Only two video ribbon cables are listed for the VN7-592G mainboard with ACER part numbers 450.06C08.1001 and 450.06C08.0001. Both are 40 pin. If you're still worried, buy an extra 40 pin cables since they're less than $20. Jack E/NJ

Thank you I really appreciate your help I meant the plastic parts that hold the screw of the hinge in, but I will do what you suggested. To upgrade to UHD I just need one of those screens I don't need to buy a 40 pin LCD connector?

Correct. The end of the LCD ribbon cable from the mainboard is simply taped to the LCD conductor connections. Pretty simple connector. Jack E/NJ

Yeah but for LCD cable I don't know if I have a 30 or 40 pin UHD screens requires 40pin I believe. I'm afraid to buy the screen and end up requiring the 40pin
